Fully biodegradable glitter powder
NRN COSMETICS Co., Ltd announced that we now have biodegradable cosmetic glitter powder!
This sparkling thing looks and behaves like ordinary sparkles, and is safer for you and your environment. Bio-waste feels more comfortable on the skin because it is actually softer than polyester glitter powder! The particle size is 0.008″ or 200 microns, which is finer than standard craft glitter powder.
Most commercial glitter powder products are based on PET (plastic) film, which is not biodegradable. They will penetrate into our ecosystem and the stomachs of marine animals and enter our food chain. In different countries, the use of microbeads is banned, followed by pet glitter powder. Biowaste is based on a biodegradable film, which is certified as decomposable and decomposes in the wastewater system.
The biodegradable components of this glitter powder come from sustainable sources and do not contain genetically modified materials. It is based on a biodegradable film made from trees, mainly eucalyptus, from plantations responsible for management.
